If you've ever wanted to feel fantastic, look gorgeous and sparkle with vitality, you’ve come to the right place!

These days, with muffins, cappuccinos and microwave dinners, making up our daily fare, we’re eating in a way that actually weakens our bodies and minds over time. When we end up depressed or anxiety ridden, we're told it’s all in our hearts, when very often, it’s all on our plates!
Whole foods, cooked in certain ways, will strengthen every cell in your body… And where your body goes, so does your heart, mind and spirit.

The word MACROBIOTIC comes from greek roots and means: Long Life
Definition: MACRO = Large, Bios = Life.

A macrobiotic diet can prevent and help cure diseases, including cancer, and that it can enhance spiritual and physical well-being.
An important goal of a macrobiotic diet is to balance the yin and yang, the two elementary and complementary energy forms that, according to Asian spiritual traditions, are present within all people, foods and objects. The two forces must be balanced in order to achieve health and vitality. A macrobiotic diet is considered to be a way of life not just a diet.

History:

The macrobiotic philosophy and diet were developed by George Ohsawa; a Japanese philosopher who sought to integrate Zen Buddhism, Asian medicine, Christian teachings and some aspects of western medicine. Ohsawa believed simplicity in diet was the key to good health and that a diet based on simplicity and abstention from certain foods could cure cancer and some other serious illnesses. Ohsawa brought his teachings to the USA in the 1960’s.
Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johanson, Kim Kardashian, Al Gore, Demi Moore, Pamela Anderson, Ashly Judd, Alicia Silverstone, Fiona Apple, Tom Cruise, are just some of the celebrities that have turned to macrobiotic diets for health, fitness and to keep their youthful good looks.
